“Complementing Big Data with Small Data: The case for Mixed Methods in UX Research”

This talk will explain why big data in UX research need to be complemented by small data for greater insights into users’ attitudes and behaviours.
After a short overview of the main UX research methods, Florian will highlight the relative strengths and weaknesses of quantitative and qualitative data, and show how they can be combined to inform UX strategy and design.

Lastly, we will also present the most common UX metrics and tools to track them over time.
